The Way Back

"Me zindagi ke sath nibhata chla gaya... har fikr ko dhuayn me udata chla gaya..." Humming this repeatedly I was walking through the woods. With a bag in hand swinging. It was afternoon. Sun was blasting over my head with fire. I was feeling thirsty and tired. Soon I crossed a narrow bushy path and found a man, an old man in shady complexion,Wrinkle face, Skin hanging free on Hand, Back little crooked,Holding a stick and dressed in white dhoti which had already turned dirty. With a herd of 5 6 big fat buffalos. What attracted me were his eyes. Dark deep eyes. Gloomy but shiny. I could have called it beautiful or haunting. But I would rather call them interesting eyes. I saw him swing his stick on ground as if he was searching something. I asked him what he is searching for? He looked up with his crooked spin and gave a gracious smile looking away from me. I couldn't get why is he looking that direction. He asked me what can I see? I said buffalo and bushes. He asked again "Do you think they are beautiful"? I got stuck and looked over those big buffalos chewing with there big dirty brown teeth. I said" no". He gave me  big smile. I could see his false tooth might be filled with gold. He said,"it all depends on perspective you may think I am searching something but I may not and something which you cannot find beautiful I can and with this he went saying, "a aa aye champa aa aa hurr" I kept looking at him like a dumb guy. Just got a lesson. I took a pic of him and started walking. I had another acquaintance and he asked me what did he said to you? I said nothing just a moral I found his eyes interesting. That person took a look over me and said " He is Blind".

My poems...read them and think of some lovingly moments spent with the one whom you looked for in your life.
